Adjusting

Creating a place to sell my art has been a great new chapter in my life.

I’ve really been enjoying the process and the overwhelming support. I’m truly grateful.

There have been so many adjustments I’ve had to make to my day to day routines in order to regularly fit all aspects of my life into one day, each day.

There have also been a lot of sacrifices I’ve had to make in order to make sure everything gets done correctly and in a timely manner.

As with everything in life, there are definitely improvements I have to make. Time is of the essence, and we don’t have much of it.

I had a good flow going, and then life happens.  So, now it’s just a matter of jumping back up and trying again.

Routine is key when running any business.  Planning is another.  Discipline and sacrifice are key principles we often don’t discuss, but they are probably the most important.

With this life as an artist, I’m finding so many more inspirations and so many more ideas.  Mistakes sometimes teach us how to change and those changes create concepts we never thought of before.

There have been a lot of changes in the world, as well as in my personal life and it is totally being reflected in my art.

Comfort zones have been challenged daily and sometimes it feels like life doesn’t give us enough time to adjust.

But if we wait too long, everything begins to pile up and opportunities are missed.  Even then, the show must go on, so we have to move quickly and move often.

I’ve scheduled Live Art videos titled “Making Art Happen” on various social media platforms so I would have regular, and new content.  The videos have been so much fun.  And engaging with my followers has been even more fun! I love seeing who is interested and watching, and who I’m going to chat with next.

I can’t wait to see outcome of all the work put into this new life being constructed for me.  I’m beginning to feel like this is what I was meant to live for.

Like this is why I lived.

P.S. Don’t let uncontrollable life events turn you into sun-bleached, black, band t-shirt.
